Privacy notice

Last updated 4 September 2026 · English. Slovak, Czech and Romanian versions are being prepared; until then, message us on WhatsApp and we will explain anything in your language.

This notice explains what personal information we collect when you enquire about studying in the UK through us, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it and the rights you have. It is written in plain English on purpose. If anything is unclear, message us on WhatsApp and a person will answer.

Who we are

We are a student recruitment agency. We help people who live in the UK, including EU citizens with settled or pre-settled status, to find a university course and apply for it, and we support them through their studies. The company responsible for your information (the data controller) is named at the foot of this page, with its company number and registered office.

Students who joined us before September 2026 hold their records with our sister company, Index Learning Ltd (company no. 12094526), at the same registered office. The same rules in this notice apply to those records.

What we collect

When you check whether you qualify or apply through us, we collect the details you give us: your name, WhatsApp number, email address, date of birth, nationality and immigration status, the city you live in, your qualifications and work history, and the language you prefer to talk to us in.

When you apply, we also collect the documents a university asks for: your passport or ID, your share code or residence permit, your certificates, proof of address, and a personal statement or writing test where the course needs one.

While we work with you, we keep the messages you exchange with us on WhatsApp and by email, notes of the calls we have with you, and, where you were told at the start of a call that it is being recorded, the recording and a written summary of it.

On this website we set one cookie of our own, so that if you come back we can carry on where you left off. We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics on this site.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

To check whether you qualify, match you to courses and make your application: this is the service you asked us for, so our legal basis is that it is necessary to take the steps you requested before entering a contract, and then to perform it.

To message you on WhatsApp or by email about your own enquiry or application, for example to ask for a missing document or to remind you of a deadline: the same basis. You can tell us to stop at any time by replying STOP, and we will.

To send you news about intakes, courses or events: only with your consent, which we ask for in a separate box that is never ticked for you. You can withdraw it whenever you like.

To call you using an automated assistant before a person calls you: only with your separate, explicit consent, which we ask for in its own box. Without it, a person calls you.

To keep our service safe, fair and lawful, including keeping records of what we told you and when, checking documents are genuine, and reviewing the quality of our own calls and messages: our legitimate interests, balanced against yours.

Where a machine helps us read a message, summarise a call or suggest a course, a person remains responsible for every decision about your application. No decision with a legal or similarly significant effect on you is taken by automated means alone.

Money matters, said plainly

You do not pay us for our service. The universities pay us a commission when a student they accept enrols and continues to attend.

Tuition fees for the courses we place students on are normally funded by a Student Finance England tuition fee loan, which you repay only once your income is above the repayment threshold. If anyone claiming to work with us describes the fees in any other way, please tell us.

Who we share it with

The university or college you apply to, and where a university works through a master agency, that agency: they receive your application and the documents it needs. Universities may also audit our records to check we recruited you properly.

Student Finance England: only where you ask us to help with your funding application, and only what that application needs.

The people who work for us, including team members in Bangladesh and India who make calls and process applications. They work under a written contract that binds them to this notice, and they can see only the students they are working with.

The services we run our business on: Meta (WhatsApp Business), our hosting and database providers in the European Union and the United Kingdom, our email delivery provider, and an AI provider that helps us read and summarise messages and documents. Each acts on our written instructions and cannot use your information for its own purposes.

Anyone the law requires us to share it with, such as a regulator or a court.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

How long we keep it

If you start a form and do not finish it, we delete what you entered one month after your last change.

If you enquire but do not apply, we keep your enquiry for two years so that we can help you with a later intake, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

If you apply, we keep your application record for six years after your studies end or your application closes. Universities audit their agents, and commission can be reclaimed years later, so we need to be able to show what happened.

Where you tell us to stop contacting you, we keep a scrambled version of your number or email address, so that we do not contact you again by mistake. It cannot be turned back into your details.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict what we do with it, object to how we use it, and ask for a copy in a form you can take elsewhere. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

To use any of these rights, message us on WhatsApp or email us at the address at the foot of this page. We will answer within one month. We may need to check who you are first.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you told us first, so that we can put it right.

Changes to this notice

When we change this notice we update the date at the top. If a change matters to you, for example a new purpose, we will tell you before it takes effect.
